BITE®

Engineered to tackle the most demanding high-stress environments, BITE® stands out as an advanced Graphitic steel alloy that delivers exceptional performance and durability. With its cutting-edge design, this material grade ensures superior bite and wear resistance, making it the ideal choice for challenging applications.

Applications

BITE® is expertly crafted for use in mills that require consistent surface quality and extended tool life. Its robust properties make it particularly effective for deep and asymmetric sections, including rails, beams, channels, and large angles.

Benefits

BITE® is a Cr-Ni-Mo alloyed hypereutectic steel with a Pearlitic or Bainitic microstructure containing Free Graphite. The structure provides excellent bite properties, and the Free Graphite enhances the resistance to fire cracking. Its consistency in hardness ensures this material grade performs reliably across all section mills, optimising both performance and longevity in tough operating conditions.

Choose BITE® to gain advanced engineering benefits and superior operational efficiency, ensuring your mills achieve peak performance even in the most demanding scenarios.
