Applications

Benefits

BITE® is a Cr-Ni-Mo alloyed hypereutectic steel with a Pearlitic or Bainitic microstructure containing Free Graphite. The structure provides excellent bite properties, and the Free Graphite enhances the resistance to fire cracking. Its consistency in hardness ensures this material grade performs reliably across all section mills, optimising both performance and longevity in tough operating conditions.
